Why Choose Us?
Should I buy new or pre-owned? If pre-owned, why should I work with Global Aesthetic Laser Trader?
To begin, let's look at new vs. pre-owned equipment.
New vs. Pre-Owned.
Ten years ago, you would have received a different answer. The aesthetic laser industry really emerged in the late 1990's, and only in the last few years have enough manufacturers entered the market with quality devices to spawn a pre-owned industry.
The state of the economy in the last few years makes now the prime opportunity to consider a pre-owned laser. Pre-owned equipment wins on:
Obviously the strongest reason to look in the pre-owned market. Often lasers are sold at 50% of the manufactures prices. This can mean the difference between ,000 and 0,000 for the exact same laser! As a business owner, this can mean the difference between being profitable or not.
There are currently high volumes of quality lasers in the pre-owned arena. From bank repossessions to lasers coming off of leases, there has never been more diverse inventory of quality lasers to choose from.
Gone are the days when you could get a 0,000 signature loan for simply having M.D. after your name. However, banks are much more willing to finance capital equipment when the loan amount is between ,000 and ,000. Plus, banks know that the lasers they are loaning money on have already taken the largest portion of their depreciation.

— Post-Sale Support —
There is a vast network of independent service companies across the country. Often, these companies employ the most experienced service engineers, service engineers once trained by the manufacturers!
These highly skilled, independent service companies can provide service for a fraction of the cost of the annual service contracts offered by the laser manufacturers. Simply scheduling annual preventative maintenance calls and changing flashlamps, for an approximate cost of ,500, will eliminate 90% of any laser service issues.
Most manufacturers provide final assembly of their equipment, but as with most manufacturing processes today, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is a third party supplier that sells the same parts to independent service companies as they sell to the laser manufacturer. Additionally, laser manufacturers will typically sell parts to equipment owners not under a service contract, although often at a premium.

Certified Refurbishment Process:
When we acquire a laser, it is shipped to our warehouse for our certified refurbishment process.
